NEW MILFORD — Due to the impending winter storm, New Milford Public Schools are operating remotely today, Monday, Feb. 1.

In an email sent Sunday evening to parents, Interim Schools Superintendent Alisha DiCorpo wrote that a separate message will be sent from each student’s principal with the remote school schedule to follow for the day.

In the event students’ families experience a power outage, DiCorpo advised contacting the school to inform them.

Additionally, DiCorpo wrote she’ll be reviewing the weather throughout the day Monday and give careful consideration to the plan for Tuesday. A separate notification will be provided to parents on Monday, she wrote.
