Registration is underway for programs offered by the New Milford Parks & Recreation Department. A brochure is available at the office at 47 Bridge St. Hours are weekdays from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Rec-On summer camp
Signup for Parks & Recreation's June 28-Aug. 3 weekday summer camp will begin May 3 from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Parks & Rec office. Early registration will be $315 for the first child in a family, $260 for the second child and $190 for the third. Cost would be $50 more per child after June 4. Michelle Gasiewski supervises children aged 9 months to 3 years old and their parents in singing, romping to music and exploring an indoor playland. Sessions meet Tuesday or Wednesday mornings for seven-week programs starting April 28 and June 15 at the Parks & Recreation office at 47 Bridge St. Cost is $70.
Color me creative
Children aged 2 1/2 to 5 will finger paint, model clay and work with other media in Friday morning sessions meeting for seven weeks. Cost is $65.
Individuals or teams are welcome to compete May 7 starting at 8 p.m. in a triva contest co-sponsored by Tivoli Restaurant at the Parks & Recreation office. Refreshments will be served at 7 p.m. Cost will be $10.
`Junk in the trunk'
Spaces for rent at $20 will be available for a June 6 sale from 8 am. to 2 p.m. at New Milford High School. Participants keep profits beyond the rental fee. Proceeds will benefit the New Milford dog park.
Signup is still open for boat slips at Lynn Deming Park on Candlewood Lake for the 2010 season. Cost is $1,150 plus $40 for a vehicle pass.
Men's 30 & older
Open sessions for men aged 30 and older meet Wednesdays from 8 to 10 p.m. at Schaghticoke Middle School. Cost is $5 per session.
