NEW MILFORD — Mayor Pete Bass is seeking volunteers to fill positions on various town boards, committees and commissions.

Those who are interested can find a list of boards and commissions on the town’s website at newmilford.org. Positions highlighted in yellow are vacant and need replacements.

“Community involvement is about finding your passion and stepping into it,” the announcement from the mayor’s office said. “So why not share your interest and talent and volunteer to fill one of the vacancies? You are bound to feel more connected to others, to the town, and to the community if you do.”

Interested residents are asked to download the volunteer application form found on the town website, fill it out, and return it to Mayor@NewMilford.org. For more information, call the mayor’s office at 860-355-6010.
