NEW MILFORD — Nature Unplugged: Summer Adventure Program is being offered free by the New Milford Youth Agency this summer.

The goal is to foster healthy communication, kindness, teamwork and trust building skills that in turn will promote an increased sense of self-esteem and self-worth for school aged children, the agency’s announcement said.

There is limited space available for kids entering sixth-eighth grade in this program, which will take place on seven consecutive Wednesdays starting July 7, from 9 a.m.- 4 p.m.

Kids must bring a packed lunch, snacks, water and sunscreen/bug spray in back pack. They must wear hiking or trail shoes, not sandals, crocks or unsupportive shoes. The children are asked not to bring electronic devices.

Registration is at myyouthagency.org. For more information, contact swells@newmilford.org or call 860-210-2030.
