Dog park meeting

An informational meeting to discuss a possible dog park in New Milford will be held Oct. 21 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the E. Paul Martin Meeting Room upstairs in town hall.

YOUTH

Ice skating

Instruction for youths in grades 1-12 are offered Saturdays at 9:30 or 10:30 a.m. at Draddy Arena on the Canterbury School campus at the cost of $95.

Just Desserts

Cooking instruction for children aged for ages 5-7 will be offered Wednesday, Oct. 22, Oct. 29 and Nov. 5 at the Richmond Citizen Center at the cost of $55.

Short tennis

Virginia Payne will instruct youths aged 8-15 in sessions meeting Thursdays from 4:15 to 5:15 p.m. from Nov. 6 to Dec. 18 at the Parks & Recreation office at the cost of $70.

FAMILY

Halloween parade/

costume contest

A halloween parade led by Crystal the Clown and costume contest on the Village Green, followed by downtown trick-or-treating will be offered Oct. 25 at 10 a.m. A free goody bag will be provided for all participants.

Digital memories

Sessions for designing and publishing bound photo books by working with software to learn computer graphic design and photo editing will be held Nov. 3, 5 and 10 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Richmond Citizen Center.

Cost of $95 will include a bound photo boook, college page print and card/invitation.

Photo fun

Those age 9 and older will use photos to create projects next Friday from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Parks & Recreation office at the cost of $30.

Card craft

Those aged 9 and older may create seasonal cards Nov. 21 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Parks & Rec office. Cost will be $18.
