Registration is underway for programs offered by the New Milford Parks & Recreation Department. A brochure is available at the office at 47 Bridge St. Hours are weekdays from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Weekly soccer sessions for youths aged 4 to 6th grade will meet Saturdays from April 10 to June 5 n the fields behind Sarah Noble Intermediate School. Cost will be $30 for new players and $25 for returning players not needing shirts. Registration after March 21 would be $40.
Girls in the Groove
Girls in grades 4-6 are eligible to an after-school running and conversation club at the Sarah Noble Intermediate School teachers' lounge. Sessions will meet Mondays from 3:15 to 4:45 p.m. from March 8 until the Moonlight Run in early June at the cost of $140.
Michelle Gasiewski supervises children aged 9 months to 3 years old and their parents in singing, romping to music and exploring an indoor playland. Sessions meet Tuesday or Wednesday mornings for seven weeks at the Parks & Recreation office at 47 Bridge St. Cost is $70.
Color me creative
Children aged 2 1/2 to 5 will finger paint, model clay and work with other media in Friday morning sessions meeting for seven weeks. Cost is $65.
DEP boating and watercraft safety classes hosted by the state DEP will be offered Mondays and Wednesdays, March 29 and 31 and April 5 and 7 from 7 to 9:30 p.m. at New Milford High School. Participants must attend all classes at the cost of $20.
Early registration for boat slips at Lynn Deming Park on Candlewood Lake for the 2010 season will be offered March 6 from 8 to 10 a.m. or until all slips are sold. Cost will be $1,150 plus $40 for a vehicle pass.
A coach bus trip to Atlantic City will depart March 28 and return March 29 after a one-night stay at the Atlantic City Hilton. For information, call the Parks & Rec office at 860-355-6050.
Red Sox baseball
An April coach bus trip to Boston to see the Red Sox play the Baltimore Orioles at 1:35 p.m. will depart Patriot's Way at 8:30 a.m. and return after the game. Cost for transportation and grandstand seating will be $68.
Men's 30 & older
Open sessions for men aged 30 and older meet Wednesdays from 8 to 10 p.m. at Schaghticoke Middle School. Cost is $5 per session.
