Registration is underway for many programs offered by the New Milford Parks & Recreation Department.

Area high school students are welcome to participate Tuesdays from 6:30 to 8 p.m. from Jan. 24 to Feb. 28 in free open dodgeball games at the Schaghticoke Middle School multi-purpose room. The program is co-sponsored by the United Way of Greater Danbury.
An April 18 coach bus trip to New York City to see the iconic rock opera, Jesus Christ Superstar," will depart from Patriot's Way at 8:30 a.m. and leave Manhattan right after the show. Cost is $98 for ticket and transportation.

An April 18 coach bus trip to New York City to visit the American Museum of Natural History will depart from Patriot's Way at 8:30 a.m. The trip will include the Rose Center for Earth & Space, all exhibits, an IMAX movie and the Hayden Planetarium. Cost will be $43 for children aged 2-12, $50 for seniors or students with an ID, and $54 for adults.
Classes will meet Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. for beginners and from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. for the those with experience, from April 3 to June 5 at the Parks & Recreation office. Cost will be $65 for eight weeks.
Registration for the 2012 season at Lynn Deming Park will open March 5 from 4 to 7 p.m. and continue be offered until all slips are sold at New Milford Parks & Recreation at 47 Bridge Street. The cost will be $1,200. Applicants must be New Milford taxpayers.
