Ice skating
Instruction for youths in grades 1-12 is offered Saturdays from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. or 10:45 to 11:45 a.m. at Draddy Arena on the Canterbury School campus at the cost of $95.
Hoop It Up basketball
Instructional co-ed basketball for grades 3-8 meets Saturdays with clinics. Games will start in January. Cost is $75.
Tikes basketball
Instructional basketball for grades K-2 instructed by Jim Manweiler will meet Saturdays from Jan. 9 to Feb. 20 at Northville School at the cost of $75.
FAMILY
Boating safety
DEP boating and watercraft safety classes hosted by the state DEP will be offered Mondays and Wednesdays, March 29 and 31 and April 5 and 7 from 7 to 9:30 p.m. at New Milford High School. Participants must attend all classes at the cost of $20.
Shop the Big Apple
A coach bus trip to New York City for a family shopping day will depart the Patriots' Way parking lot Dec. 5 at 9 a.m. and leave New York City at 5 p.m. Cost for transportation will be $25.
Atlantic City
A coach bus trip to Atlantic City will depart March 28 and return March 29 after a one-night stay at the Atlantic City Hilton. For information, call the Parks & Rec office at 860-355-6050.

Men's basketball
Open sessions for men aged 17 and older meet Wednesdays from 8 to 10 p.m. at Schaghticoke Middle School. Cost is $5 per session or $25 for eight weeks.
Men's 30 & older (basketball
Open sessions for men aged 30 and older meet Tuesdays from 7 to 9 p.m. at Schaghticoke Middle School. Cost is $5 per session.
Exercise swim
Kaye Davis instructs eight-class sessions of low-impact swimming meeting Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the New Milford Sports Club at the cost of $90.
