New Milford High School has been awarded continuing accreditation in the New England Association of Schools and Colleges.

The Committee on Public Secondary Schools commended New Milford for the “safe, positive and supportive culture that fosters student responsibility for all learning and results in shared ownership, pride, and high expectations for all.”

The continued accreditation award follows a two year self-study process by high school faculty and administration, an on site visit by NEASC team and a review of self-study documents by the visiting team.

The NEASC accreditation process typically occurs every 10 years.
