NMEDC board has 'vested interests in promoting' town
The New Milford Economic Development Corporation comprises an appointed board of directors representing the public and private sectors, many of whom are or have been business owners, or have experience in that field.
"It's a volunteer organization (made up of people) who are trying to give back," according to Debbie Pritchard, a board member and co-founder of Chemical Marketing Concepts in town.
Nicholas Gazetos, chairman of the corporation's board and executive vice president at the Savings Bank of Danbury, described the board as "a diverse group -- representing government, nonprofits, utilities, large and small employers, financial institutions, entrepreneurs, professionals -- all with vested interests in promoting Greater New Milford as a place to live and work."
