The Housatonic Valley Association's annual auction to benefit the environment is scheduled for Sunday at the Bryan Memorial Hall in Washington.

Auction items will include vacations to the French countryside in Provence, home furnishings, art, designer fashions, tickets to Broadway shows and sporting events, fine dining and wines, gourmet food baskets, jewelry and even a five-course meal for six cooked by a seasoned chef.

The event, headed by designer Diane von Furstenberg of New Milford and actress Christine Baranski , will open at 1 p.m. with a champagne reception and music by the
Rams Miles Band . Catering will be provided by Elm Street Gourmet/Executive Cuisine of New Milford. The silent auction will begin at 1 p.m. with the live auction at 3 p.m.

Guest tickets for the champagne reception and silent and live auction are $50 each. Patron tickets of $150 each include reserved auction seating and pre-auction brunch or twilight support hosted by the George Washington Tavern in Washington Depot.
