Museum to hold tea party
The New Milford Historical Society & Museum will hold its annual children's tea party April 7 at 1 p.m.
This year's theme will be "Madeline and the Bad Hat," with all decorations and activities to have a French accent.
Children ages 3 to 10 are invited to attend and are encouraged, along with their parents, to wear their best Paris-style fashions, as an old-fashioned French school girl or school boy or wear a "Bad" hat like Pepito.
Offerings will include readings from the "Madeline" books, songs, dancing and refreshments.
Door prizes will be offered and awards for the most fashionable girl, best-dressed boy, the girl who looks most like Madeline, the boy who looks most like Pepito, the parent who most resembles Clavel and the "Baddest" Hat will be presented.
Admission is $25 for a parent and child, with each additional child admission of $10.
