Maureen Giannamore, 57, was a rehabilitation nurse

Maureen T. Giannamore, 57, of North Port, Fla., died Feb. 22, 2011.

Mrs. Giannamore was born Oct. 6, 1953, in Brooklyn, N.Y., and moved to Port Charlotte from Danbury in 1998.

She retired from Ridgelake Hospital (HealthSouth) in Sarasota in 2008. She was a registered rehabilitation nurse.

Mrs. Giannamore is survived by her husband of six years, Robert (Bob); her father, John Edmond, of Danbury; four brothers, John Edmond and his wife, Sue, of Prospect, Stephen Edmond and his wife, Mary, of Brookfield, Timothy Edmond and his wife, Diane, of Sherman, and Richard Edmond of Dallas; and a sister, Jean Edmond, of Danbury.

She also leaves behind three nephews and one niece.
