Mary G. Webster, 91, of New Milford, died Aug. 31. She was the widow of Wilbur F. Webster.

She was born May 29, 1922, in Halstead, Kan., to the late Benjamin and Lula Cadle Grattan.

During World War II, she was employed at the Pentagon. After the war, she and her husband moved to Connecticut.

She was a retired receptionist for Dr. Street, Dr. Ferris and Dr. Happel.

After retirement, she enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and volunteering at the Thrift Mart. She was a member of the First Congregational Church and the Palm Rebekah Lodge No. 43.

She is survived by three sons, Robert, and his wife, Lynn, of New Milford; William, and his wife, Michele, of Prospect; and J. Chris, and his wife, Jennifer, of Scottsdale, Ariz.; a sister, Eileen Penner, of Burrton, Kan; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband of 67 years, she was predeceased by two brothers, Jack and Bill.

Burial was at Center Cemetery in New Milford.

Lillis Funeral Home in New Milford was in charge of the arrangements.
