Marty's Cafe is presenting an exhibit of black and white photography by Ginelle van Tartwijk of Washington through Monday.

Ginelle, 17, took the photographs last June in Normandy, France, at the Allied invasion landing beaches of Pointe du Hoc and the American Cemetery and Memorial that overlooks Omaha Beach.

The cafe will exhibit oil paintings by Ann Harriet Carew of Art and Soul Studio in Roxbury Monday through July 5.

Ms. Carew paints landscapes of familiar local places and still life or floral paintings.

The artist has exhibited throughout the Greater New Milford area and at various art associations, libraries and commercial venues.

Some of her work is on permanent display at the Roxbury town hall.

The cafe at 4 Green Hill Road is open Mondays through Fridays from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sundays from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
