Marjorie Kravarik, 73, loved family, genealogy
Marjorie (Cade) Kravarik, 73, of Clearview Avenue, Harwinton, died March 12, 2012, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital in Torrington after a battle with cancer. Her family was at her side. She was the wife of Lawrence Kravarik for 53 years.
Mrs. Kravarik was born June 15, 1938, in Norwalk, the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (Conley) Cade.
She was employed by Hallmark until her retirement.
She enjoyed photography, especially portraits of her family, and the research associated with the genealogy for both her and her husband`s families.
Mrs. Kravarik loved to work with ceramics and with her flower gardens.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Kravarik is survived by three sons, Larry Kravarik, of Harwinton, Mark Kravarik, and his wife, Dawn, of Norwalk, and David Kravarik, and his wife, Lori Fleckenstein, of New Milford; a brother, Jack Cade, and his wife, Julie, of Norwalk; three sisters, Joan Cossuto, and her husband, Alan, of New Milford, Virginia Tingets, and her partner, Richard, Ouellette, of Harwinton, and Paula Culbreth, and her husband, Dave, of Brookfield; 10 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, David Cade.
Friends may call March 17 from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. at Cook Funeral Home., 82 Litchfield St., Torrington. Burial will be private.
