The Institute for American Indian Studies in Washington will host its annual maple sugaring festival March 17 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Festivities will include a Native American sugar-making demonstration in the center's Algonkian Village, as well as pancakes from 11 a.m.

to 1 p.m. and activities for children from 1

to 3 p.m.

Admission to the event at the 38 Curtis Road museum is $10 for adults and $8 for children.
