Maida E. Waldron, 84, lived in New Milford
She was born May 19, 1924, in Perham, Maine. She worked during World War II for General Electric in Boston.
After moving to New Milford in the 1950s, she worked at The Bleachery, then for Kimberly-Clark for 25 years. She was most recently employed at Hart's on Bank Street.
She was predeceased by her husband, Frederick Jay Waldron , in 1974.
She is survived by a daughter, Susan van Asch van Wyck and son-in-law Hubert van Asch van Wyck ; a grandson, Jan van Asch van Wyck
She enjoyed driving, knitting and crocheting, gardening and walking, especially on The Green with her little dog, Foxy.
As per Ms. Waldron's request, there will be no funeral service.
