Burnham Library in Bridgewater will present an exhibit of watercolors by Mary Jane Magoon April 1 through May 28.

The Sherman resident will be on hand for a reception April 10 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the 62 Main St. South library.

Magoon is an interior designer and a certified color expert.

Inspired by rural Connecticut, the changing reflections of light and shadows of everyday objects and reflections of glass and windows are some of her favorite subjects.

Magoon is a member of the Northeast Watercolor Society, the Kent Art Association and the Society of Creative Arts in Newtown.

The exhibit may be seen at the Main Street library Tuesdays from 1 to 5 p.m., Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
