The Local Artists Crafts Group, which serves the Greater New Milford area, will hold its holiday sale Nov. 27-29 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in New Milford.

The event, which will feature handcrafted in America goods by local artists, will take place at the railroad station on Railroad Street.

A percentage of the sales will be donated to the Animal Welfare Society, Inc. based in New Milford, which serves the towns of New Milford, Bridgewater, Brookfield, Roxbury and Washington.

Offerings will include photography by Don Turner, jewelry by Cynthia Battista, fused glass by Linda Banks, textiles by Celeste Bellemare, pottery and paintings by Jan Lesnikoski, feather and gourd art by Bern Richards, handmade natural soaps by Reese Pipe and metal art by Rob Wotzak, who transforms stainless flatware, old copper flashing and scrap steel into nature-inspired garden art and other decorative pieces.

Other artisans have been invited to participate to add to the diversity of items available to purchase.
