Lincoln’s birthday will be celebrated at Bull’s Bridge Inn in Kent Feb. 11 at 6:30 p.m.

Under the auspices of the Kent Republican Town Committee, the dinner will begin with hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar, followed by dinner at 7 p.m.

Meal choices are New York strip steak, chicken Marsala or grilled salmon, plus dessert and coffee or tea, according to event coordinator Vincent LaFontan.

The cost is $30 per person of $55 per couple, with tax and tip included.

Senator Craig Miner of Litchfield (R-30th), State Representative Brian Ohler of North Canaan (R-64th), as well as state central committee members John Morris and Ginny Landgrebe have been invited to attend.

In addition, a number of Republican candidates for state level offices will address the guests.
