The New Milford Public Library will offer a free practice ACT test Nov. 9 from noon to 4 p.m.

The test, offered by Kaplan Test Prep and Admissions, will last for four hours and will simulate the actual ACT.

It will be conducted by professional proctors under realistic testing conditions.

In addition to taking the free practice test, students will receive feedback on their performance, including an analysis of their strengths and weaknesses by question type and level of difficulty, which will assist them in adjusting their preparation accordingly.

Students can expect a call within two weeks of the test from a specialist who can send them an e-copy of their score and explain the various metrics in the report.

For more information and registration, call the Main Street library at 860-355-1191, extension 201.
