E-book question-and-answer sessions will be held July 11 and July 27 from 11 a.m. to noon.
The open Q&A session is for New Milford residents who would like help with the library’s e-content options.
A two-part program about Instagram will be held July 19 from 2 to 3 p.m. and July 26 from 2 to 3 p.m.
The course will help curious or intimidated new Instagram users get up to speed quickly.
Topics include how to install the Instagram app, find and follow users, and take and post pictures.
In addition, it will focus on how to use Instagram filters, use captions and hashtags, and develop a community of followers.
An informational program, “A Parent’s Guide to Social Media,” will be held July 24 from 2 to 3 p.m.
The program will highlight the features and capabilities of top social media sites that are popular with today’s youth, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Foursquare, Snapchat and more.
Patrons are invited to bring their own devices and ask any questions they may have regarding digital media.
