Letter: Region 12 BOE faces another task
To the editor:
On Monday, Aug. 31, a question was asked of Region 12 Board of Education chairman.
In order for the referendum to pass, will it require a simple majority across the region?
Or will it require a majority in each town?
The BOE chairman revealed that the Connecticut state Board of Education had approved the Region proposal, if there is a majority in each town. He stated the region will try to remove this condition in the coming weeks.
Region 12 has one more task for the September workload.
