Minor Memorial Library in Roxbury will present a program on the progressive movement in Connecticut Oct. 19 at 7 p.m.

The program is part of the library’s lecture series about the 1930s.

Eugene Leach, retired Trinity College professor, will present “Governor Wilbur Cross in Depression Connecticut: New Deal or Re-shuffle?”

The program, which will address the ways in which Connecticut responded to the challenges of the Great Depression, will be held at Hodge Memorial Library at 4 North St.
