To the Editor:
Prisoner of War/Missing in Action, Connecticut Forget-Me-Nots held our annual benefit dance at VFW Post 1672 in New Milford.
Flashback has provided its incredible music for more than a quarter of a century as a benefit to enable us to continue to support the families of our POW/MIAs and to pursue an honorable resolution to this national tragedy.
We thank those who came to dance, as well as Flashback for its support.
We were very fortunate to have the opportunity to hold our annual dance at VFW Post 1672. We are very grateful to the members of the VFW and its Ladies Auxiliary for their generous support and concern for our POW/MIAs.
Everyone enjoyed the hors d'oeuvres, platters and snacks that were donated by area businesses.
Thank you to The Pantry, Big Y, Northville Market, Stew Leonard's and Stop & Shop for the delicious culinary treats.
Once again, we received outstanding raffle prizes from area merchants and individuals despite these difficult economic times.
