Let me tell you what I think about Kyle Busch.

Love him or not, you have to respect his talent.

Some people have said he's a better driver then the late Dale Earnhardt, but I don't see it.

Dale and Kyle's driving styles are different and so are their personalities.

For the most part, Kyle is rude and arrogant in a snobby kind of way.

Yes, Dale was sometimes rude too, but in a humorous way.

I think Dale had a lot of respect from his fellow drivers, but I can't think of a single driver that has much respect for Kyle.

For me, there's not much comparison, but I can't ignore how fast Kyle has put down huge numbers in the win column.

His first Nationwide victory came on May 14, 2004. Since then he has won 29 Camping World Truck Series races, 49 Nationwide races (tying him with Mark Martin) and 22 Sprint Cup races.

At 26, he is the youngest driver to reach 100 victories in NASCAR. His goal is 200.

Last year Kyle started his own Camping World Truck Series team, Kyle Busch Motorsports (KBM), with part-time drivers Brian Ickler and former Formula 1 Champion Kimi Raikkonen.

Kyle seems to have matured a little bit since he became an owner, or is it maybe since he married Samantha on New Year's Eve? It could be both.

He races full time in the Sprint Cup series for Joe Gibbs Racing (JGR) with teammates Denny Hamlin and Joey Lagono.

Denny came close last season to dethroning Jimmie Johnson for the championship, but came up a little bit short.

Going into this season, a lot of people thought it would be Denny or Carl Edwards who would try to keep Jimmie from taking home his sixth championship.

Kyle is currently fifth in points and he's known to race very well at the tracks left on the schedule.

Do I think Kyle has matured enough to become a Sprint Cup champion?

No, but if he keeps up the roll he is on, it's a good possibility he's going to be the guy to take away the big trophy from Jimmie.

And if that happens, you watch and see how big his ego can really get. If you don't like Kyle now, you definitely won't like him later.

The Sprint Cup guys are off this weekend.
