The Gunn Junior Library in Washington offers a variety of children’s programs.

Saturday programs include pumpkin painting (bring a pumpkin; all other supplies provided) Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; a Halloween costume party and parade Oct. 28 at 1 p.m.; “Marble Run,” where children can make a marble run game to take home or play with one, Nov. 4 at 1 p.m.; a STEM experiment lab Nov. 11 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; “Fun with Magnets” Nov. 18 at 1 p.m.; and Debbie O’Carroll’s “Magic Theatre Show” Nov. 25 at 1 p.m.

Story times will include Two’s Time for 2-year-olds Fridays through Nov. 17 from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m. and Book Buddies for 3- and 4-year-olds Fridays through Nov. 17 from 2:15 to 3 p.m.

Kindergarten and first-grade story craft will be Tuesdays through Nov. 14 from 3:30 to 4:15 p.m., for second- and third-graders Thursdays from 3:30 to 4:15 p.m. through Nov. 16.

An after-school Wii tournament for fourth- and fifth-graders is planned for Thursdays from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. through Nov. 16.

Participants will do homework for 20 to 25 minutes, have a snack and play Wii.
