Kevin O'Marra, 57, loved family, friends
He was born Dec. 28, 1955, in Bethel, the third son of Thomas and Margaret (Ward) O'Marra. He graduated from Immaculate High School in Danbury in 1973, and received a bachelor's degree in business administration from Western Connecticut State University in Danbury in 1978.
Until his recent illness, he worked for Autopart International in Brookfield.
He loved his family and friends dearly, and enjoyed spending time with them. He liked to travel, and distant family and friends were often included on his itinerary. He was an avid sports fan, with a special fondness for the New York Yankees and New York Giants. He also was a particular fan of John Wayne movies. Most importantly, he was a good and kind husband.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by 24 nieces and nephews; many great-nieces and -nephews; numerous cousins; his dearest friends and a brother, Richard J. O'Marra, of Albany, N.Y. He was predeceased by his first wife, Patricia (Rowland) O'Marra; his parents and his oldest brother, Thomas R. O'Marra.
Interment was at St Francis Cemetery in New Milford.
The Green Funeral Home in Danbury was in charge of the arrangements.
