Kevin James Donnelly, 45, died Feb. 7, 2011.

Born to Lynne Donnelly and Richard Donnelly in Berkeley, Calif., in 1965, he grew up in New England and attended Canterbury School in New Milford.

Following high school, Mr. Donnelly went to Messiah College in Grantham, Pa., where he met and fell in love with his wife of 21.5 years, Catherine.

Mr. Donnelly developed a great love for music, media and specifically radio. He was passionate about Christian music, starting Cumberland Valley Christian Radio to raise money for a Christian radio station in South Central, Pa. He also volunteered and worked with many radio stations.

Together Kevin and Catherine had six children, and a seventh is expected in the spring. Two children pre-deceased Mr. Donnelly, and four survive him and will miss him.

Mr. Donnelly was known for his sense of humor, his strong work ethic, his deep love for his family and his passion for seeking after God. His favorite moments in life always involved spending time together as a family.

His life verse was Galatians 6:9, "Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary." Most recently he worked in Spokane, Wash., as "The Orkin Man."

Mr. Donnelly is survived by his wife, Catherine; his sons, Benjamin and Andrew; his daughters, Hannah and Abigail; and his daughter yet to be born. He is also survived by his parents, Richard Donnelly and Lynne Donnelly; his brothers, Steven and Christopher Donnelly; and his three half-sisters, Shannon Lowry, Kristin Menendez and Megan Rayder.

Visitation, funeral services and burial were held earlier this week in Spokane, Wash.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wells Fargo Bank in the name of Kevin Donnelly.
