The Kent Volunteer Fire Department ambulance will offer free blood pressure and oxygen saturation tests and take a tour of the department's ambulance May 15 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and May 21.

The May 15 event will be offered at the library on Main Street and May 21 event will be held in the parking lot near Davis IGA on the Kent Green.

Public education handouts about injury prevention, safety awareness and medical emergencies will be available at the awareness clinic.

Vial of Life preparations and refill forms will also be available.

The clinics are in recognition of National Emergency Medical Services Week, which kicks off May 15 and runs through May 21.

In addition, Kent Ambulance staff will visit local nursery, pre-schools and kindergarten classes throughout the week.
