Kent library to hold ‘Sunset on Spooner’
Kent Memorial Library will hold its annual gala and fundraiser, “Sunset on Spooner,” June 25 from 5 to 8 p.m.
The venue is on the grounds of former New York local television news anchorwoman, Michele Marsh and her husband, oceanographer, PH Nargeolet, the world’s leading expert on the Titanic wreck site.
Their property is set amidst the picturesque South Kent hills with dramatic views of where the Appalachian Trail zigzags its way along the Housatonic River.

The fare will include gazpacho shots, grilled shrimp, lentil salad, a variety of appetizers, wines, prosecco, spirits, beers and cold drinks.
The auction will include dining with celebrities, Bulls Bridge golf for four, Broadway tickets, a vacation week in Mexico, Giants tickets, restaurant gift certificates, artwork, a guitar and more.
The library's website will provide up-to-the-minute auction information at www.kentmemoriallibrary.org.
