The town of Kent will kick off its holiday festivities with the second annual Kent Holiday Champagne Stroll Nov. 28-29 from 4 to 7 p.m.

Patrons may purchase a $10 ticket to sample more than 30 champagnes at participating businesses.

The event is underwritten by the Kent Chamber of Commerce and Bain Real Estate.

Prizes will be awarded.

Luminaries will be lighted throughout town, musicians will perform and businesses will offer promotions and events.

Other holiday events will include:

St. Andrew's Episcopal Church at the corner of routes 7 and 341 will kick off its annual Christmas tree sales Nov. 30.

Trees may be purchased Fridays through Sundays throughout the season.

A revival of the popular Gingerbread Festival will begin Dec. 5 and run through Jan. 5.
