The Kent Singers will present a concert of seasonal choral music, “Comfort and Joy: Lullabies and Dances for Christmastide,” Dec. 17 at 3 p.m. in Kent.

The concert, to be held at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church at 1 North Main St., will feature Conrad Susa’s southwestern carols and lullabies, as well as songs familiar and new by John Rutter, William Mathias, Benjamin Britten and other composers, accompanied by harp, guitar, marimba and organ, and directed by James Knox Sutterfield.

The Kent Singers (, a small auditioned group of amateur singers from the Litchfield County area, has been performing since 1973.

Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door, with children under 12 admitted free.
