The Kent Singers will present an all-Bach Christmas concert Dec. 11 in Kent and “Carols with the Kent Singers” Dec. 17 in New Milford.

The all-Bach concert will be held at 2 p.m. at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church at the corner of routes 7 and 341.

The concert, conducted by music director Matthew Travis, will feature the “Weihnachts Oratorium (Christmas Oratorio)” and “Wachet Auf (Sleepers, Awake!).”

Soloists mezzo-soprano Caroline O’Dwyer, and baritone Ryan F. Burns, who will be accompanied by renowned organist David Baranowski, will perform.

Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the door. Children under 12 will be admitted for free.

The “Carols with the Kent Singers” will be held at 5 p.m. at St. John’s Episcopal Church on Whittlesey Avenue.

The family-oriented program of holiday music and audience participation in carol-singing is free, however a free-will offering to support the Community Fuel Bank of New Milford, a fund that provides one-time grants of deliverable fuel or electric assistance to low-income New Milford households facing crisis, will be taken.
