The Kent Singers will present Mozart’s “Requiem” and Vaughn Williams’ “Serenade to Music” June 11 at 3 p.m. in New Milford.

The concert will be held at St. John’s Episcopal Church on Whittlesey Avenue.

“Serenade to Music” sets text from Shakespeare’s “The Merchant of Venice” in harmony with writing for soloists, chorus and orchestra.

“Requiem” is of fame due to its presence in the critically and publicly acclaimed movie “Amadeus.” The “Requiem” is Mozart’s final composition, left unfinished at his death.

The concert will be conducted by music director Knox Sutterfield, with soloists Sarah Yanovitch, soprano, Kate Maroney, mezzo-soprano, Dann Coakwell, tenor, and Dashon Burton, bass-baritone, who will be accompanied by chamber orchestra.

Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. Children under 12 will be admitted for free.
