The Kent Chamber of Commerce will present the Kent Sidewalk Festival Aug. 3-6 in downtown Kent.

Offerings will include shopping and sales at numerous downtown shops, food and specials at restaurants, special events, a National Clown Day event and more.

Annie Bananie Ice Cream will offer “Cheeseburgers in Paradise” will be held Aug. 4 from 8:30 to 10 p.m. ($10 charge), Sakura blade and tool sharpening each day from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

St. Andrew’s Church will hold its annual tag sale Aug. 4-5 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. Early bird shopping will be held Aug. 4 from 8:30 to 10 a.m. for $10.

The library will continue its annual book sale and car raffle.

Vintage cars parade through town and park on the Kent Green on Aug. 5 from 4 to 8 p.m. during Kent Car Cruise Night. Stop by to check out the cars and enjoy some music and great food.

The Kent Art Association will continue its president’s juried show, NAPA Auto will showcase some local race cars and provide giveaways Aug. 5 and W. David Herman Gallery will present works by Steven Balkin.

Kent Yoga & Bodyworks will offer a savings for first-time students Aug. 4-5 at its 9:30 a.m. yoga classes ($10 charge).

Other activities will include caricatures by Emily, Henna by Elyse, Charms of the Heart (pick a charm, create a bracelet) and Fascia Chocolate’s Sweet ‘n Salty Tasting.
