The Kent Volunteer Fire Department will host its 101st annual ball June 9.

Doors will open at 6 p.m. with dinner to follow at 7 p.m. at the firehouse at 28 Maple St.

KVFD members Veronica Limbos and Amanda Harvey are co-chairwomen.

Offerings will include appetizers from local restaurants, dinner, dancing to the music of Key of D Music and raffles.

Dinner will consist of roast beef -- fire roasted by past Chief Bill Tobin and his crew -- and non-beef dishes.

Guests may bring their own beverages. Setups will be provided.

Tickets are $25 in advance and $35 at the door, space permitting the evening of the ball. They may be purchased at town hall, Kent Fabrics and Kent Wine and Spirit.
