June F. Seitz, 84, most recently of Arlington, Va., died Jan. 13 after suffering from Alzheimer's disease.

She was born June 24, 1928, at Hackensack Hospital in New Jersey, the only child of the late Charles B. Faulkner and Mathilde (Swaczina) Faulkner.

Mrs. Seitz graduated from Westwood High School in 1946 and married her husband, Albert G. Seitz, of River Vale, N.J., in 1953.

The couple moved their family from River Vale to Warren in January 1970 and became co-proprietors of the Warren Country Stores for several years.

After the sale of the stores, she worked for Sandmeyer Oil Co., managing its office in Cornwall Bridge before retiring in 1990.

In 2002, Mrs. Seitz moved to Arlington to live near her daughter and her family.

Mrs. Seitz is survived by two children, Robert C. Seitz, and his wife, Kimberly L., of Hatteras, N.C.; and Nancy Seitz Burnham, and her husband, R. Jeffrey, of Arlington; and their two children, Robert and Alexandra; and another grandchild, Scott Seitz Crowley, who resides in Harwinton, with Samantha Galgano, and their son, Nathan. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a son, Michael P. Seitz, of San Diego, in 1991.

A funeral service will be take place Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Warren Congregational Church, 4 Sackett Hill Road.

Interment will be private at the Warren Cemetery in the spring.

The Lillis Funeral Home in New Milford is in charge of arrangements.
