Jonathan "Jon" William David, 31, of Danbury, died Nov. 13 in New Castle, N.Y., as a result of a motor vehicle accident.

He was born March 5, 1981, in Danbury, son of William David and his wife, Katherine, of New Fairfield, and Caryl Lucchesi, and her husband, Albert Wasko, of Danbury.

A lifelong Danbury resident, he attended King Street School and was a 1998 graduate of Danbury High School and a 2003 graduate of Western Connecticut State University.

Mr. David was a former member of Boy Scout Troop 52 and a member of the track and field team at Danbury High School during his senior year. He played rugby at WCSU and was an avid skier.

He was a computer administrator for various companies in the area.

Mr. David taught himself to play guitar and played avidly. He wrote music, built his own guitars and was constantly rebuilding and tinkering with computers.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his daughter; his grandparents, John and Caryl Lucchesi Sr., of Bridgewater; his step-grandmother, Stella Wasko, of Stratford; three brothers, Christopher David, and his girlfriend, Terri Phan, of Danbury; Alex and Jack David, both of New Fairfield; a stepsister, Stephanie Cooper, and her husband, Troy, of Branford; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Eva and William David, formerly of Danbury.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Danbury Hospital Development Fund, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, 24 Hospital Ave., Danbury CT 06810.

Burial was at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Danbury.

Hull Funeral Service in Danbury was in charge of arrangements.
