John Miller, 76, was partner of Bob's Auto Parts

He was born Nov. 26, 1931, in Yonkers, N.Y., the son of the late Thomas and Margaret (Patton) Miller.

He was a partner of Bob's Auto Parts, served in the U.S. Marine Corps. during Korea, was a member of Union Lodge 40 AF & AM, the Pyramid Temple of Milford and the Candlewood Shrine 2.

He was a captain of a charter fishing boat, and an avid hunter.

He is survived by his daughter, Teresa Kondrat of Brookfield; a sister, Peggy Thurlow and her husband Greg of New Milford; two brothers, James Miller and his wife Loretta of Danbury and Robert Miller and his late wife Evelyn of New Fairfield. He is also survived by his former wife, Juliann Miller of Brookfield; three grandchildren, Brittany, Ryan, and John Kondrat; several nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Louis Andreko.

A memorial service will be announced in the spring.

The Green Funeral Home of Danbury was in charge of arrangements.
