James Brian Fehr, 53, of Roxbury, died Aug. 29.

He was born July 13, 1960, to Mary P. and the late Donald Fehr.

On Aug. 10, 1984, he married Jill Whalon. They had three children, Douglas, Christopher and Emma.

He was the owner of Ellesmere Numismatics, and later, Winning Edge Coin & Bouillon.

He was known for his sense of humor. He loved rare coins and fishing, and had high hopes for the football team, the New York Buffalo Bills.

In addition to his family, he is survived by four siblings, Cathy Meinertzhagen, Mike, Tom and Rob; his longterm friend, Nicole, and her children, Sadie and Nick; and many nieces and nephews, who knew him as Uncle Trouble.

A memorial service will take place Sept. 7 from 5 to 9 p.m. at his home at 63 Lower County Road, Roxbury. Burial will be at the St. Peter Cemetery in Danbury.
