Jaffe reopens psychoanalytic practice
Dr. Ruth Jaffe has resumed her practice of psychoanalytic therapy with adults and couples in a new office in Washington Depot.
The new office is located at 2 Titus Road, just off Route 47, in the building that houses KMR Art Gallery.
She shares professional space with Peter Schoenholtz, a licensed clinical social worker, who treats individuals, children and families.
Jaffe recently retired from her full-time psychotherapy practice and teaching in New York City in order to spend more work and leisure time in Connecticut, where she and her husband, Dr. Robert Jaffe, have resided since the early 1970s.
Her academic background includes a Ph.D. in neuropsychology and a post-doctoral degree in psychoanalysis and psychotherapy from New York University.
Jaffe can be reached at 860-868-6845 or 917-301-1183.
