The Jewish Community Center in Sherman will offer a variety of programs in the coming weeks.

An art show and open studio event will open with a reception Friday, Nov. 4 from 7 to 8 p.m.

The show, which will also be open Saturday, Nov. 5 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., will feature watercolors and acrylics, photography, jewelry, custom canvas floor coverings, metal and more.

“Tellabration! A Celebration of the Oral Traditions” will be held Nov. 12 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Storyteller Robin Bady will entertain the audience with “Imagine! Dragons, Monsters, Talking Animals and People Like Us.”

Admission is $5 per person or $15 for a family of four.

RSVP is required by Nov. 9.

A “Great Decisions” talk will be held Nov. 13 from 10 a.m. to noon.

A discussion about Cuba and the U.S. is planned.

A “Wine & Paint Night with Color on Wheels” will be held Nov. 17 from 7 to 9 p.m.

Guests are invited to bring their own beverages; snacks will be provided.

Admission is $40.
