Irish music performed in Kent
Published 12:00 am, Tuesday, February 21, 2017
Live traditional Irish music is available Tuesdays from 7 to 10 p.m. at Bull’s Bridge Inn in South Kent.
The music is led by David Paton, a well-known folk artist on Concertina who has recorded several albums.
The session attracts musicians from all over northwestern Connecticut and nearby sections of Massachusetts and New York.
Although the session is based on traditional Irish music, selections sometimes veer into other folk traditions.
Singers are also welcome, but there is also a separate session devoted exclusively to singing on the first Monday of each month.
