New Milford Community Ambulance volunteers, New Milford police and volunteer firefighters were among those on hand, some assisting military veterans with ceremonial changing of the flag.
The ceremony was coordinated and presented by the 9/11 committee including Dan Sullivan, chairman; Peter Orenski, treasurer; Tammy Reardon, secretary; Walter Bayer, Cheryl Bonis, Doreen Grey and Patrick Maguire.
