The Institute for American Indian Studies in Washington will offer a variety of programs in the coming weeks.

Offerings will include a basket workshop July 23 from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., a green corn festival Aug. 6 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., a stone knife workshop Aug. 27 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., a walk with primitive skills practitioner Andrew Dobos Sept. 3 from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m., a clam bake and drumming session Sept. 17 from 6 to 8 p.m., a Native American heritage walk Sept. 18 at 2 p.m. and a Native American archeology roundtable Oct. 23 from 1 to 5 p.m.

In addition, summer camp opportunities are available to children ages 5 to 12.
