The Institute for American Indian Studies in Washington will offer its annual Native American holiday and arts crafts market Dec. 1 and 8 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Dec. 2 and 9 from noon to 5 p.m.

The market at the 38 Curtis Road museum will feature holiday gifts from local Native American crafters.

In other news, the Litchfield Hills Archaeology Club will hold a lecture program, featuring Dr. Nicholas Bellantoni, associate professor at UCONN and emeritus State Archaeologist, who will discuss his new book “The Long Journey Home: The Repatriations of Henry ‘Opukah’ia and Albert Afraid of Hawk,” Dec. 2 from 3 to 5 p.m.
