The Institute for American Indian Studies in Washington will

offer a variety of programs in the coming weeks.

Offerings will include a drum workshop Feb. 23 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. (snow date Feb. 24); a maple sugaring festival March 2 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.; a lecture about "Lonetown: Warrups, Reads and the Colonial Frontier," with archaeologist Stuart Reeve and Redding town historian Kathleen Von Jena, March 10 at 3 p.m.; a discussion of "Christianity and Religion Among Native Americans" March 24 at 1 p.m.; and a winter film festival March 30-31 at 2 p.m.
