Home-efficiency energy lectures slated in Kent
The Kent Energy and Environmental Task Force will present two home efficiency lectures in coming days.
"Zero Net Energy Homes, Deep Energy Retrofits and Passive Houses" will be the topic of a Nov. 11 lecture from 7:30 to 9 p.m. at the Kent Community House on Route 7 North.
The lecture is geared toward the homeowner, although building professionals are welcome.
There will be a $5 suggested donation.
"Deep Energy Retrofits: A Home Energy Efficiency Workshop" will be the topic of a Nov. 12 workshop from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., also at the Community House.
The workshop is geared toward the building professional, although homeowners are welcome.
Registration is $110 by Sunday, Oct. 31 and $150 after.
